    Hot water heater
    My husband just installed a new hot water heater. It is filling with water, but no water will come from our faucets. Help Please

    That is bizarre. Was the tank supply hoses hooked up the same way they were before or was there any fancy new gadgets stuck in the line? If the tank filled up and the gate valves in line with the tank supply are turned back on, then there is only one thing I can think of. The main meter valve was not turned back on! If the house was plumbed to code and you use city water that is my only guess for now... nm :) ps. Give the lines to clear out the air a little time. Like 5 seconds.

    Thank you for your quick answer. As it turns out, my husband had something backwards.
