I am in my mid 50s and she is in her late 40s. We have been dating for almost 10 years. Within the last 5 years our face time has become limited to about 3hrs each Saturday because she takes care of dad with late stages of alzthimer all week. One day she tells me she is in love with me, and 3 days later she has the full no contact rule in effect. She put blockers on her home phone,as well as her cell phone.out of anger and hurt, I send some nasty e-mails . It has been 3 month now and she will not respond. How can the tide turn so fast. After 10 years she discards me without any explanaition and treats me like an outcast. How can she be that cold.a friend of mine saw her with her new beau late at night. She was the love of my life, she was my last stop... will she ever come back..?

I am not an expert but she is probably having a mid life crises. She has probably been with a lot of people over the course or the years (not in a bad way) if she hasn't even married or had a stable relationship even approaching her 50's. She's probably not as committed as you think. 1) The problem probably arises 5 years ago. 2) It could also be the distanc if you guys have had to FT. 3) You sending her the email could have added to her frustration and anger in order for her to do this and confirmed her decision 4) Maybe she met this guy before and was closer to her in terms of distance? 5) I can't say for sure, but no I don't think she is coming back. She's not a very young women and she probably wants excitement and wants to enjoy her life I doubt she will come back to the routine and go back to her old life.
