Dripping sound in ceiling
Hello, I live in a one story home in FL and outside my bedroom is the AC compressor unit. Usually in the late morning (9-10AM) or early evening (5-7PM) I heard a dripping sound in various parts of my ceiling. I see no water damage on the ceiling or discoloration. There should be no water pipes above my bedroom except maybe the refrigerant pipe from the AC unit. I've climbed in to my attic, tried to crawl as far back as I could get to, laid there and sometimes I hear and sometimes I don't but much less frequent. I couldn't find where it was coming from and didn't see any water spots. My attic is full of loose insulation and the refrigerant pipe is wrapped with foam and appears dry. What in the world could be causing this noise? It drives me crazy and I'm not sure do I need to call a plumber or an AC repair person? Any advice would be appreciated !

I have the same problem, If we open hot water tap or shower in the bathroom we hear dripping sound in my daughters room from the ceiling. It continues for five minutes and then stops. There is no sign of water damage. Any suggestions?
