    Had a tooth pulled
I had a tooth pulled 7 days ago, was wondering when it's normal to lose the clot & if I'm at risk for dry socket? I noticed that the socket looked a little deeper than it did earlier & there's not as much of the white clot. Been doing the warm salt water rinse & have had nothing carbonated in over a week. How long after a tooth is pulled that you're no longer at risk for dry socket? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

If you don't smoke, so rinse with salt water, rub gently with a soft bristle brush, and the gum tissue isn't beet or bright red, then you are healing normally. When you rinse, suck in your cheeks, contort your face, and do a lot of swirling around in case food is in there.
