    Why does the engine die on 93 grand marquis when fuse/relay box is pressed down on?
    When I press down on the power distribution box that sits behind the battery (93 grand marquis) the engine dies.

    It means that you are breaking the connection between a power source and one of the fuses or relays. Look for a loose wire, relay or fuse not properly seated.
