    Stray dogs
2 days ago I was driving down a dirt road and I saw 2 dogs in the middle of the road, and noticed they were very skinny,I immediently went and got a 40 lb bag of dog food and water and brought it back, they would not let me get near them plus I was scared to get to close because I didn't want to bring home any diseases to my 2 at home lile parvo. I have been feeding them for a week and they have gained weight, but they will not leave that spot of the road for some reason,I have looked through all surrounding counties missing dog pics and I don't see them. My question is should I gain their trust until they let me take them and find a home, orshould I just wait till they gain a little bit more weight and call animal control, but I know they will kill them, that's why I have not contacted them, and there is no NO kill shelter around.

Gaining a dogs' trust could take a very long time, especially since you don't know what circumstances they are there under.
They already refuse to let you near them or come near you.
I think common sense has to come into play here.
Are you willing to risk your safety, should they become aggressive or bite you out of fear? Are you willing to go through rabies treatment should you get bitten?
Are you willing to risk your dogs safety in the event you can get them to your home?
Furthermore, the dogs themselves out there on their own could get hit by vehicles, become a nuisance for people that live nearby and yes, people do shoot at, and set traps for nuisance animals.
Many people have successfully taken in and cared for abandoned and stray animals, that doesn't mean that they are all companion animal material.
Your best options here may be to contact a rescue group or Humane society in your area to trap and evaluate the animals or call animal control.
Have you asked people who live in the area if they know anything about the dogs?

Edit: For clarification purposes, I said "treatment" in actuality there is no actual treatment, my reference is to the protocol of the injections given after a bite. These injections do not treat but rather they work to prevent infection from taking hold.
