My left foot is swolen pretty badly, on the top of the foot and ankle area but not to include the toes... it has been this way for approx 9 days now, not warm to the touch... no center area that appears to be a bite... I do not recall doing anything at all to cause this. I have been to my family doctor and he simply noted swelling... nothing else. I do not recall having had this problem before. I am not experiencing any other symptoms and do not see any other signs. It is painful to walk on and I can barely fit my husbands shoes on... as my haven't fit since the start... this is not normal and it hurts... please help

Put your foot in a bucket of ice... before you go to sleep make sure you put socks on and keep your foot a little elevated for the pressure. If this presist I world consider E.R
