Sending email with outlook through router
Hi, my computer is connected through a netgear MR814-v3 router.
I started using Microsoft outlook on my computer and I have outlook on my wireless pda.
I can receive mail but I can not send mail using outlook. (I can send mail using Yahoo and other e-mail account just not through outlook).on my pda I can send mail through my cell provider but not through the wireless LAN through the router.
Because I can not send through my pda and computer I assume its something to do with the router.
Anyonw knows if I need to change the settings somewhere in the router?

    Thanks

There is nothing in the router that would block your mail. You need to check the SMTP (outgoing) server settings.

What exactly do I need to check? What changes are required?

Make sure the server name is correct.

If you were using outlook express then started using outlook make sure you set your default to that mail server as they have a bit of a conflict
