    401k for student loans
    I recently graduated from grad school and have loans totally 60000. Can I use my 401 k from my previous job to pay down my loans? I graduated in 2012 and started working shortly after.

    The penalties will be steep. Far higher than the interest rate on the student loans. Meaning taxes and early withdrawal penalties.
