    I have a JD 345, with a 54in. Deck. Broke the belt don
    Can you tell me how to replace the new belt? The old belt broke off, so I didn't see how it worked. Can you e-mail me a picture of it please. I can't find my manuals.

    Hi,
    A bit vague there; I will assume that you speak of the deck, which has a primary and a secondary belt. That machine has used an 18HP and a 20HP engine on it and has two different motion drive belts dependent on the serial number.

    PS Note the V-shaped arm on left. It unhooks and swings outward and around to the rear deck wheel to remove the tension from the primary belt to give access to th secondary belt in the picture. The second picture shows a different 54 but with the primary belt (that tensioning arm is wrong.)
