    Can my boyfriend adopt my daughter?
    My daughter is 6yrs old and her father is willing to give up parental rights. My boyfriend would like to adopt her how do we go about this!

    Hire a lawyer and take this through the courts. If your ex is willing to sign away on it and you have been married for about 1 years time then all should go smoothly.

    He can adopt after you are in a stable marriage for a year. The Court wants your daughter to be raised by two people who are legally committed to each other.
