    Well water psi
    My new well pumps 20 gallons of water a minute. Is this about average or is it low or high?

    High if it is only for a home. However, if you water livestock, or have another need for extremely high volumes of water, it may be just what you need. Just depends on the demand of water you need for your system. There really is a science to correctly sizing a pump, piping size, etc, etc. Let us know more about your situation and we will see what we can come up with. There are a couple folks here that deal almost strictly with well systems. Hope they pop in and give their advice. Jl?

    Be happy. 20 gpm is good. It is more than is needed for the typical home situation, but better too much than too little. If I was you, I'd think about using a fairly large pressure tank just to avoid short pump cycles. But as MGD wrote, it depends on what your application is.
