    Dyfs wants to terminate my parental rights
    :mad: I need to find out if anyone is familiar with this subject... in NJ..
    Need advice ASAP!!
    5 Children and 1 is a newborn!!
    Have comleted all services in 13 months that dyfs has given us
    * parenting
    * counseling
    * family counseling
    * Indivual counseling
    My husband completed a Outpatient drug program 1 Year cost us over 10,000.00 dollars
    * He has had all clean urines up to date
    * We had a Homemaker
    * Never missed on visit with any of are kids
    * Just started un supervised Visits..
    We had 1 slip up and now there trying to terminate are rights!!
    We do have prior problems with dyfs in the past , But never guilty of abuse or neglect un founded and kids returned home to us...
    PLEASE HELP!!

    You need an attorney. You say you had "one slip up". But obviously you had dome some things that put you on probation. When on probation one slip up is all that's needed.

    Yes the reason the took the kids to begin with is because my husband was on drugs in the home and that was neglect, which totoaly makes sense. But since then we have rectefied that issue with him going to the program for 1yr... As for the slip up I violating a court order by allowing my daughter to come home for 3 days.. and it was not our visitation day. My sister in law had custody though the state of her as a foster parent and allowed her to come here. I do have a lawyer but thatnks for the advice though.
