    Azo coupling
    Whydoes azo coupling at ortho position of 1-naphthol occur if para position is occupied?

    And why does diazonium coupling ortho position or para position of phenol?

    Hi, asking twice won't get your question answered faster, I deleted the old one because this one had an extra question in it.

    Sorry I cannot answer your question, my chemistry knowledge doesn't stretch this far. Have you tired looking through your notes, tex book or maybe even wikipedia?
