    Have highlights, want my old colour back!
    I have medium brown hair and decided to start getting highlights. The first and second time that I went to get them done they were quite light, getting too light, so I asked the hairdresser to try and darken them on my third visit as regrowth was getting too obvious and it was too light from my skin during the winter months!
    She said she would put less in on the top so that it was not as obvious and did the same on my fourth visit (December). Now what I have is two root lines (hope that makes sense!) The roots close to my scalp are my natural colour, then you can see another line where the colour changed and she put less on my hair.
    Anyway hope that makes sense.
    What I want to do is try and go back to my natural colour. Would lowlights get rid of the highlights? Would they make it less obvious regrowth?
    Another hairdresser suggested an all over colour but I don't like this idea as feel that is starting all over trying to grow that out again and it will never match the natural colour that I have anyway... :eek:
    Where do I go from here, I dod have lowlight over highlights years ago and they just seemed to fade and leave the highlights again.
    Hope someone can help!

    Yes I know what mean ! You only have two options though, one suffer through the growing out period and possibly get a shorter haircut, or have your hairdresser dye you hair the closest to hour natural shade.

    I have called another hairdresser today and they have suggested getting Loreal Diacolor? Put through my hair, temp colour 6-8 weeks, but will match to natural colour and will give shine. Is this correct, ever heard of this?
