Connect Hunter Ceiling Fan w/ Harbor Breeze Remote
    Hello,

I have a Hunter ceiling fan (which I bought a few weeks ago and is installed). It only has 3 wires (because the light plugs into a connector at the base of the fan). The wires are Black, White and Green (ground).

The Harbor Breeze remote wants me to connect 3 wires to the fan:

    WHITE (to Motor N)
    BLUE (for Light)
    BLACK (to Motor L)

Is this even possible seeing that there is no wire accessible specifically for the light?

    Thanks for your help!

    Ray

Thanks for the links, however, they were not helpful. The first link only refers to fans with 4 wires. Mine only has 3. The second link refers to Harbor Breeze Ceiling Fans. Mine is a Hunter.

    Sincerely,
    Ray

Hello, sorry they were not helpful. You could try to purchase a Hunter ceiling fan remote, which is more likely to work with its own brand.
