    Is shoving illegal?
    My boyfriend keeps shoving me against the wall. He says it's not illegal so the police will just get angry with me if I call them. I'm embarrassed to ask my mom about it. Is he right?

    No, he's not right. This is domestic violence and he can and SHOULD be arrested for it.

    This is abuse plain and simple.

    Why do you stay with him? You need to get out now before the shoving turns into punching.

    It's abuse and he is a LIAR. Get out of the relationship now. The abuse will get worse. Tell your mom about it.

    This guy is a douche, and a liar, not to mention an abuser.

    Tell your mom, and dump him. If he ever puts his hands on you again you call the cops and have him arrested.
