How do I install a cable outlet from an existing looped access point?
I have a room with a cable plate with only a hole in it. Behind the plate is a loop of coax. How do I handle this? Do I need a T connector, or some other solution?

Usually there is an end to the cable in the box. Just screw an end on it. If it is a true loop, cut the line, install a splitter and connect a piece of coax out and then put the end on.
