Subletter kicked me out, what are my rights?
Over the summer I agreed to sublease a room from a classmate. The agreement was that I would share the second level with another girl for the first month, and would have the space to myself during the second month. There was no signed agreement, but I do have record of the agreement in the form of an email conversation. At the beginning of the summer I paid for 2months of rent, and was to help pay for utilities/cable/internet when the bills arrived. After the first month, the subletter contacted me and informed me that I was breaking "house rules" that were never made known to me until the issue arose. A few weeks later, the roommate (who according to our agreement was supposed to be gone) verbally attacked me about a few dishes left in the sink. She screamed at me and threatened to call the cops to get me kicked out. A few hours later I got a text message from the subletter saying that I needed to be moved out in 24hrs. This was 1 week before the end of the 2 months I had paid for. I moved out a few hours later, as I was concerned for the safety of my property, and was forced to live in my car for a week while I tried to find a new place to stay. What I'm wondering is what rights I have, being that I didn't sign a contract, but I do have written record of the agreement and the subletter's demand that I vacate the premises within 24hrs. She agreed to repay the 1 week of rent, but refuses to refund the money paid for utilities/cable/internet just a few days before I was kicked out. Is there any legal action that I could take in this situation? (The Landlord was aware that I was living there for the summer)

Because Landlord/Tenant laws are at the state level and vary, what country and state/province are you located. But since you moved out on your own... not much.

You got the one week of rent back? (You didn't have to move out, but I guess you know that.)
Prorating one week of electric, gas. Cable? How much would that be in the summertime? That's really all you could sue for in small claims.

You did not have to move, you could have refused and told them they are required to give you legal notice.

Since you just accepted it and moved out, there is nothing you can do. You would get back any unpaid money
