I have just had a ultra sound and I have been informed I have lots of liver stones.
Never heard of stones in your liver. 3 of them are 3cm in dia.
Can you please tell me how they treat this and how long should I await appointment?

These are serious and they will be surgically removed using an optoscope going in through an artery. The liver has stones from your diet, alcohol causing an over acidic body. Ways to clean it up and get on the right track is to get some alkaline strips for testing from the pharmacy and test yourself an hour after a meal to see what the food is doing to your body. I test in the morning and then at night before I go to bed. Your body should be at 7.2 - 7.8 to be healthy. Eating too much protein or acidic vegetables, drinking alcohol and believe it or not condiments are very acidic. There's a book called "Eat right for your Blood type" or something close to that, which has charts for your specific blood type and what kind of foods you should be eating. Some acid is good but a lot of it will cause your body to start rotting. Why haven't you talk to your doctor and asked him these questions, he will explain it! They are not necessarily serious, and may not be surgically removed. Please wait to see what your doctor says on the next visit. Many times it is a 'wait and see' approach.
Liver stones and gall stones are virtually the same. There is some new evidence that liver stones may have a heredity factor.
