If I marry my boyfriend could I be able to fix him papers?
My boyfriend entered United States illegally from Mexico, almost 7 years ago when he was 17 years old. He has no tickets nor has he had any problems with the law. We have lived together for a year and have a 1 month old baby. I don't work, he is the one who works and we depend on him. If we marry is there a chance he can fix papers? If so how much time will it take? Also I heard he doesn't have to live the U.S. for 10 years for entering here illegally. Is it true?

No,. in fact marrying him only makes it HARDER to get here legally. Marriage does NOT impart a legall right to come here. It doesn't even speed it up at all.

If he was ever issued deportation orders then yes its an automatic 10 year OUTSIDE the USA before he can even apply.

You can always move back to Mexico with him while you try to straighten out the mess.
