Is prescription required before purchasing birth control pills?
I have gone to an OB before because of my irregular period. She told me to take pills as medication. I didn't listen to her. Now I'm thinking of starting to take it. Can I buy it without seeing a doctor again? I find it costly to go and ask a doctor.

You will need a doctor's prescription for the Pill. Call her office to tell her you are now interested, and she can call a pharmacy to fill a prescription for you.
