Period twice in one month, but not normal...
    Hello.
I am a 25 year old mother of two. I have very regular cycles. I had my last cycle begin on the 19 and begin again on the 28th. The first two days were just light spotting, but began flowing heavily on the second. I am unsure what is going on. I used procautions during sex, and have a doc appt but it'll be two weeks from now and don't have insurance. To go along with my symptoms I have extreamly harsh acid reflux. Not heartburn. My cycle was clotting heavily. My normal cycle only lasts 3-4 days. I am very very worried. Since my spotting began on the day of the blue moon I dismissed it originally due to lunar pattern. I do understand that most women's cycles are based around the full moon to my understanding. I also was told over the phone if it was a miscarriage by my obgyn that a pregnancy test would come out positive. I then proceeded to take 3. All were negative. I am not overly stressed, and eat a well balanced diet. I take vitamins, just your normal women's once a day. I had an upper resperatory infection last month, but have seen my primary after and was given a clean bill of health. I am very scared. What do you think? Should I go to an er? Will they have an obgyn avail in an emergency room? I am Soooo worried... Please help.

There's really nothing anyone online can offer to do for you. You know your body, you know if something serious is going on. It's your call whether you want to go to the ER or wait to see your doctor in 2 weeks.

Not even a doctor can give you a diagnosis online. We can guess, but what you're describing literally has hundreds of possibilities, and every single one would be a guess.

If you want an actual answer you'll have to physically see a doctor. Now, or two weeks from now, that's really your call.

    Good luck.

wildfire6269 (Today 06:36 PM): all a doctor is going to do is guess as well. I do not have stds, I have been screened in the last month as well as my partner. And pregnancy is not poss. So what to do... Source:This is not even an opinion
My post was not factually incorrect. Seems you don't want to follow the rules of this site.

No, a doctor won't guess, a doctor can run tests, and give a diagnosis based on those tests.

You posted on someone else's thread asking us to post on yours, and this is what I get?

Good luck getting anyone else to agree to help you.

    Good bye.

Well. 1. I'm new. 2. there are no rules besides the norm. 3. I asked for help not your saying what everyone knows. If you have nothing helpful to say, say nothing. Why bother posting anything if you can't be any help? You have fun working with animals, cause obviously you do not know how to deal with people. Have a nice night.

And an er doc isn't going to run any tests beyond a pregnant, uti screen, which I know I don't have, so Im not going to waste my time.

Oh, okay, so you want a guess.

Here are a few possibilities. I don't have the time to list all of them.

    - PCOD
    - Ovarian cysts
    - Ectopic pregnancy
    - Miscarriage
    - Cancer
    - Stress
    - Illness
    - Medication
    - Off month
    - Ruptured ovarian cyst

And the list goes on and on and on and on.

    Was that helpful enough?

I'm not saying that any of the above is what's going on with you, because I don't know, I can't know, not even a doctor can know by the very vague description you gave online. How would a doctor know? Doing tests!

But you don't want tests. You want guesses.

    Now you have them.

    Good luck.
