Will I have to pay an excess on my car insurance if I lose my keys?
I lost my car keys last night and now I'm worried I'm going to have to pay an excess, my insurance does cover me for lose of keys but I'm a fairly new driver so all this is new to me and I'm not completely sure how it works, I've checked my documents and it doesn't state anything about having to pay, I'd appreciate any answers to this question asap as I can't really leave it any longer to phone them up.
    Thanks.

    Where are you at ?

Insurance is about wrecks, not car repair or losing keys.

You don't even report this to the insurance company. You merely get a new set made. And pay for it our of your own pocket
