    Denying access to unfit parent
First... What is the actual definition of "unfit parent". My 3 year old child has someone who she calls "Dad", has no memory of the bio father, he stopped paying child support when he stopped seeing her when she was 6 months. He use to stock my house and be abusive towards me. Now he wants to see here one wkd every month at my expense ( I will have to pay for fuel and a hotel) wich I can not afford. But that's the only supervised access center around. The child is happy, content, well cared for and has a dad. What info do I need to actually prove in court that he is unfit (he drinks and does drugs, abusive emotionally, mentally, sexually) and it isn't in the child's best interest?

You need proof - an arrest record, eye witnesses, have him drug tested, bring in Police Reports from when he was violent toward you or others, if he can't hold a job because of drinking and drugging - bring in proof of that.

If you are saying he is sexually abusive with children you need to notify the authorities if you have not already done so - immediately!

He used to stock your house? Do you mean he used to provide groceries and now he has stopped?

I would be very careful about your child calling someone else "Dad." I have seen that backfire. In fact, I've actually talked to neighbors to see what the child calls the mother's boyfriend. If more than one boyfriend has been called "Dad," the mother has a problem.

Anyway - get proof. Hire an investigator if you need to. Keep your child safe.

Your testifying means almost nothing, the court expects each side to lie about the other.

You will need court records of his arrests, you will need non related ( best) witness of abuse and drugs.

Next yes the DAD issue while nice someone is there for the child, may not go well in court.

But the court may order visitation near you at a counselors office or using a 3rd person approved by the courts. If you get a court order for supervised. You will have to prove he is a threat still.

He wants to see her? What he wants and what he gets are two different things. Does he have court ordered visition rights?
