    Florida requirements for replacing air handler and compressor
    My old central a/c stopped working. I was told that the old compressor would have to be replaced but that Florida law requires that I replace the air handler too.
    Is that true?

    Are you sure they weren't referring to the A coil? This was an R22 unit?
