My question is simple... when shaving pubic hair, what is the best or most attractive shape? I realize it's all about personal taste... I'm just trying to get a common consensus. Is it better to shave only the pubic mound or should I shave the lip area as well? Thanks for the help. :D

There are 3 areas of concern:

Firstly: The itch factor, if you don’t keep up the trim every day it will itch, so keep in mind the labor factor for whatever design you choose.

Secondly: What type of pubic hair are we talking about here? The (type) i.e.: color and thickness of hair is very critical in designing a “look” you’ll be proud to show the world. I will break this paragraph to sections of color and bushiness

Blonde with thin straightish hair: nothing you can do here but a complete baldy.

Blonde and bushy hair: You can do something with this here, shave the lip area and make an arrow head pointing down to your most intimate of area. The arrow head should be no bigger than two inches high. Make sure that no single hair itself extends more than 3/8 of an inch outward from your skin.


Redhead and thin hair: again nothing you can do here but a complete baldy. Next please

Redhead bushy: If the hair is short and curly (must be short and curly NOT long and curly)
I suggest a little number I like to call hearts delight, shave the lips nice and close and render a sweet little valentine’s heart about a ½ inch above where the lips starts.

Brunette and thin: Again complete baldy is your only option here.

Brunette and bushy: The crème d'la crème now again I must say and it is crucial that you understand that bushy means SHORT and curly, not long and curly. You’ve hit the jack pot if mother nature endowed you with such a lovely combo of black short curls and you should shave accordingly: firstly give a close shave to the lips and up and around the bikini line and then as if mother nature herself were guiding your hands put down that shaver and stand proud as you now have the hottest bush in town.

Thirdly: care and upkeep: hmmm. I’m a man what would I know about that. I did hear that aloe Vera makes for a soothing aftershave.
