My Children's Father,& My Abuser
Ok.Children have always lived with me never dad. We never lived together or married. No custody orders. Recently April 30,2012. Me & my children left my home, police escort. He had been staulking me Again etc. Went into dv shelters & been staying with family etc... basicaly we've been hiding from him... My kids are scared of him & Iam very afraid of what he's going to do to me... It seems the system didn't help much & now he's threatening through email he's going to have me persecuted to the fullest extent for kidnapping. Can he do this? & I have no money, Im disabled from abuse 5 years ago, My income is now cash aid,foodstamps,& medical since going into dv shelter. So no money for a lawyer & he makes about 120k a year.

No, he cannot have you arrested for kidnapping without having had court orders for custody.
What state is this, and is he on their birth certificates, and has DNA testing been done? Many shelters can help you find pro bono lawyers, as well as welfare and housing. If you can find family he doesn't know about to hide with, you can start the process of making it harder for him to fight for custody. You shouldn't even be reading his emails and should delete all old accounts or he will find ways to know where you are. |
