    Breathing issue?
I have a breathing issue and I don't know if its bad or not. When I lay down sometimes I start to itch. Right under the chin, on my upper back and my sides. Then after that I get shortness of breath. So I cough because I don't have enough air. And when I cough I think I taste blood but I'm not sure. Then if I stay laying down it feels like my lungs burn and hurt. Then when I sit up it goes away. My mom says it's the cats. I have 3 cats in my room all the time. So could it be caused by the cats or not? My mom doesn't believe I'm doctors so I can't get a check up and we are too poor to go to the hospital anyway. So please I need to know if this is serouse or not.

Of course breathing problems are bad. If you stop breathing you stop living.
Under your circumstances and not knowing where you are located, the only suggestion I have is to just call 911 if you can't breathe or if you have problems while out in public, ask someone to call 911 for you. Could be any of a whole host of causes but breathing problems are serious regardless of the cause. Better to tick off your mom than risk your life. Probably the most serious thing you have said is that " My mom doesn't believe in doctors so I can't get a check up and we are too poor to go to the hospital anyway". That is the primary advice you are always going to get here in regard to medical problems- check with a physician. Dr's in the US I believe have the means to bring these matters to the attention of authorities certainly in the case of minors. But I don't know very much about your status from your question and more information won't help much if you are under the control of a person who prevents you from getting proper medical attention. If you have breathing problems, force the issue and get evaluated by a professional. There should be a way to do that if you make it your priority.

I don't stop breathing. I just have a hard time. And we arnt that poor we just don't have enough for doctors. And it doesn't happen all the time only sometimes and that's when I'm laying down. I asked another online doctor and they said it could be a type of asma. But its not bad. And I mean I can run fine its only when I lay down. My question really was what is it that I have? I want to know what it is.
