    Problems with my left lung
For about 5 days now I've been experiancing a gurlging in my left lung sometimes when I sneeze or cough. Today I'm experiencing it now when I breathe sometimes. It isn't affecting my breathing. I'm also asthmatic and currently taking Astmanex to control my asthma. I do not smoke or drink, but work with people who do smoke. What could be the reasons for this?

Second hand smoke is worse then smoking. The smoke is probably having an effect. I would see your doctor for a check up.

You also could have pneumonia in your left lung, but without being able to do an x-ray, we don't know.

Sounds like a doctor's visit is in order.

I had severe pneumonia and pleurisy about 10 years ago and since then I've had a cough and lingering pleuritic pain. I also tend to get chest infections very easily. Could pnuemonia have caused asthma or is this just the lasting result of scarring?
