    Change of name on a puerto rican birth certificate but love in ny
    I was born in puerto rico but live in the usa since I was 7yrs. Old.
    My name was changed to peter ands for many years it has always been peter. Now at this stage of my life the problem becomes complicated because my birth certificate still says pedro. I want to keep it as peter.

    How old are you?

    Are you an adult?

    If so, you can legally change your name to Peter. Heck, you can change it to Princess Conseula banana hammock if you want, as long as you're an adult.
