Advice please.. My puppy is sick I'm worried
My doggie has threw up four times today, he is only 6 pounds, he is usually hyper, playing and eating. All day he has just been resting and refusing all food, he just seems like he doesn't feel good. It was like 6 hours since he had vomitied but I offered some water because I'm scared of him get dehydrated being so little and 5 min later he threw up a little more. Should I be worried? Anything I can do?

Are you in the US? You're going to have to get him to a vet on Thursday. It could be all sorts of things.

Are you feeding him the same food she did? Has he had any problem before this?

Maybe the change finally caught up with him. Did you gradually change it, or all at once?

All at once is a no-no. You mix them together and gradually add more and more of the one you are switching to.

Be sure he drinks water. Boil some ground beef, get rid of the grease, add some cooked rice to the cooked beef, and see if he will eat that.

OK thank you. Will that help with the vomiting and diaherra? The couple time s I got him to drink water seems to throw it right back up

Try Pedialyte if you can get some. He must drink something until you can get him to a vet. Dogs get dehydrated very easily. Or rub some maple syrup on his gums for energy.
