Actaully... having some fear is healthy... the racer that has no fear is more likely to do something dumb that might get them killed or seriously injured.
Meaning the few people I know that race... none are fearless.

Well, key there is how consuming is the fear? I've had situations that resulted in the rear wheel locking up instantly at 60 mph on the highway, more than once... no crash barriers... or shoulder to slide on... that will make your butt pucker... when there is a line of trees on one side.. or guard rails or oncoming traffic.
But I don't let it consume me and I still ride. And I have had a few ugly accidents over the years on a motorcycle, for ICE, oil slicked wet road... hit by driver on wrong side of road, mechanical failure...

Then perhaps... there is a component of confidence more so than actual fear.
Is there a place you can practice powersliding around turns that is in an open flat area.. where there isn't anything to run into if you go too wide or go down. Practice doing it faster and harder until you are confident doing it... BEFORE trying it on a closed course that has barriers.

Ouch... that barbed wire is actually more dangerous than the cement wall, fear there is well founded.

Having ridden dirt bikes myself in my youth for a lot of years, (but never raced one), open fields, hill-climbs on slate dumps (a REALLY big one that covered over 20 acres and a few hundred feet high), trails, basically a variety of conditions, you really need to find a place you can practice. You really need to be comfortable with that bike in a power slide. You need to have that feel, know exactly how it responds at different speeds and throttle settings...
What I see is the problem is you lack that confidence of controlling the bike in that situation.
The more comfortable you are doing it, and the more confident you are in your ability to do it, the less your fear will be of that wall.
Basically your fear of hitting that wall is greater than your confidence that you can keep it away from the wall. Its all in finding a way to shift that balance in your favor.
