I have been having horrible pains inside my right foot between my ankle and toes along that side. I woke up with the pain yesterday morning. The pain increased throughout the day so I stayed off my foot as much as possible. Then I went to bed a little before 10pm and woke up at 1am with pain so horrible it was almost unbearable and brought me to tears. I was finally able to get out of bed and make it to my medicine cabinet and took 4 ibprophens then laid back in my bed for over an hour in pain until finally falling back asleep. The pain is not as bad as it was at 1am but still pretty bad ongoing none stop today. I have researched gout but do not believe I have those exact symptoms. Do you have any idea of what it could be and if so do you have any ideas of what I could do to stop and prevent this?
