My boyfriend was widowed 2 yrs ago. Since then he began looking at porn online. Mostly still photos instead of video. Today he admitted that he looks at it daily especially when he is bored. He goes into his office and watches TV and views online porn. He says he only masturbates occasionally. He looked at mother/daughter sites. Featuring adult daughters and mothers. Says it is to compare the two age groups.

We've been dating 6 months. And our sex life is poor. He can't get an erection except about one morning a week. He makes lots of effort to keep me pleased sexually and is great at it.

Why does he need to see so much porn? If he backed off on his viewing, would our lives together improve?

First off... he has the right to watch porn, football and basketball if he wants... he's an adult.

Second, you have the right to watch Soap Operas, chick flicks , and read romance novels... its really the very same thing.

Third when has he last had a complete physical and did he mention this to them... what medical conditions migh he have and what medications is he on.

At 53 he might have very real problems with ED that are medical in nature. THe reality is its 99.9% likely hit has NOTHING to do with the fact he like nearly every other normal man... in that he likes seeing naked women.

Looking at naked bodies is NOT directly connected with being capable of having sex... in fact if anything in his 50's or more.. its more likely to result in MORE desire to have sex and not less... however bellyaching about it is 100% certain to kill any desire he has to have sex right in its tracks.

Guys brains are and always have been hard wired to appreciate the lines of the female body... if the little buddy isn't able to stand up or no has nothing to do with it.

Guys stop liking to see naked women shortly after they draw their last breath and their last heartbeat.
