    Mower problems
 My mower started acting like the battery was going bad.It would try to turn over but it sounded like the battery was bad.I replaced the battery, but it did the same thing.I pulled the plug out and the engine spins like it should. It won't turn the engine with the plug in.
I checked the ground and all the connections from the solenoid to the starter.

Check the voltage at the battery and starter. Should be 12.5 + if it is you may have a bad starter or as some experts believe, out of clearence valves may cause the same symptom
