    About removing shareware
    Hello all.

Every time I format my laptop (Asus N61VG) I get some asus software automatically installed without asking me. The OS and drivers are on a part of the HDD so I don't need any DVD or other disc to format. There are some crappy games, non-sense software like some DVD-players Power to GO bla bla bla, which I always have to uninstall after formatting and installing windows 7. So I am curious to know if I can have access to the root folder which has the setups of these shareware stuff so I can delete them, or if there is a method to uncheck them even before they're installed so I don't have to spend my time on uninstalling crap software.
Any idea would be more than welcome.

    Thanks in advance. :)

You could seek out the recovery partition, reverse engineer Asus's implementation, and then modify the recovery files to remove the crapware, but that would be a lot of work. Alternatively, after the next Asus reformatting, once you have the crapware removed, the laptop fully patched, and all the software configured just so, use imaging software to make an image of the machine and then use that image to restore the machine the next time. I suggest Acronis True Image or Backup & Recovery, but there are numerous other imaging products.
