I am installing a loutdoor light fixture with a white, clack and copper wire, inside
The outlet has 2 white and one red wires as well as a black wire and I use the ground wire.
Where does the second white wire go and the red wire?
This outlet is for and outdoor light on the wall and the secondlight won't work in the yard because I do not have the wires hooked right/'
    Can you help?
    Thanks

All whites go together, black and red together as the red most likely feeds the other light. How was it hooked up before? Did you take it apart?

Let's back up a step, please.

There are two lights on the back yard, correct? How are they controlled, a switch, two switches? Also, does the source feed come into the first light's box?

If so, then you may not have wired the switch loop correctley. Can you get back to us with the following information. Where is the source feed? What conductors are connected to the switch? Have you checked the breaker to see if lumping all of the white conductors actually tripped the breaker?
