    Couldn't find your records in my shoebox.

    First, The 401K program didn't exist until 1986...

    If you have a 401K , they (the program adminstrator) will have been sending you quarterly statements... as they are required to do. THose will have the information you need.

    Or you can try contacting you old employers to find out who is currently administering their plan... they themselves will not have your account info.
