If she is my daughter, then what?
I live in Canada. I knew that I might have a daughter, and tried to find my ex. I finally found my daughter. She is 17 now. I might get a DNA test done. If she is mine, will I have to pay back-support for the time I lost with her ? My ex left and tried to never let me find her by telling this girl a different last name of her "biological" father knowing she was looking for me, and this way, would never find me.

Anything is possible when it comes to the Canadian courts. But it runs in your favor that she was hiding the child as far as preventing arrears in child support.

If the mother never filed for support, then it is unlikely she can do so now.

The OP has stated the child is 17 years old. Since still a minor then there is reason to believe that a support order can still be created. I think the focus is if it can go back and how far vs being current support.

Since the child was hidden from the OP, I have the feeling a court isn't going to entertain a support request now. Though its just a feeling.

I would love to agree. But we are talking about Canada. This is the same country that can make a child support order against a non bio parent and a bio parent at the same time. Its hard to make the call on this one.
