I am undergoing treatment for primary infertility. My Gync has advised me to undergo follicular study for 3 months consecutively. This is the third month I am undergoing the study. On my 11th day(yesterday) the follicles were 20x21, 17x18mm on right ovary and 14x15mm on left ovary. For this month the doctor had already suggested to inject HCG (10000 units) when the follicle size becomes 20x20mm.
So I was injected HCG yesterday morning. However the endometrium thickness is only 5mm. My doubt is whether is it right to inject at 11th day itself. Will the HCG cause the egg to mature in 36 hours that means I need to undergo intercourse today itself.. I am confused.. Please advise. [My gync is not available today to discuss]
