Everyone's body handles alcohol different. I will give you my story. (happend this past weekend unfortunately)

    Drank 5 12oz beers + 1 24oz can + 1 shot (Vodka, Blue Caraco, Red Bull).

Pulled over at 3:15ish am. Blew .15

Couldn't be released from jail until I blew under .020

    I didn't get released until 1 pm (I blew .017)

That was 11hrs after being pulled over. 12hrs after I stopped drinking.

Like I said above, everyone's body is different. You won't know until you blow.

Let's do a little calculating. What is your gender, age, height and weight? Immediately before, during or following the beer did you eat? As Rick noted the interindividual variance is confounding but can hopefully figure a range. Also, where is the BrAC being administered? The device is also a factor.

Also what was time of first drink and last drink?

Added: Just re-read... must have been sleeping. The time interval 11:00 last night until 8:00 tomorrow morning is 33 hours. There will be no alcohol in your system at that time. No calculation necessary. For some reason I was interpreting it as 9 hours.

Just out of curiosity what type of BrAC was being used to get the .017? A desk unit?

Doesn't look good based on your size.

The range for clearance is between 8.75-21 hours. Average would be 12.5 hours. That is to BAC=0. It is also based on empty stomach and 5 hours consumption time.

Regular heavy drinkers can metabolize even faster but the lowest figure above is based on an elimination rate of .024 ph which is pretty rapid. The lower figure doesn't apply to many but is the low end of range for males being .010 ph.

Why don't you have results for the test. It seems you asked the question 10 hours later?
