I was wondering if anyone could help. My period was due on 27th jul and I am now 2 1/2 weeks late. I left my country of residence on 26th July to embark on a 4 week holiday. I am still on holiday and still no sign of period. I took a pregnancy test when I was 2 weeks late And it came out as negative. I did travel quite far, 12 hr flight with 7 hrs time difference. Routine has definitely changed, sleeping patterns and of course eating habits. I have been late before but my period came when I was 10 days late. There is no reason why I could be pregnant but I still took the test to be on the safe side. Could anyone shed a light? Thank you.

"There is no reason I could be pregnant" I assume that means you did not have sex, so if you did not have sex, you are not pregnant.

If you had sex, there is a reason you could be.

Women are late or even miss a period often, so just missing one does not mean you are, but does not mean you are not.

Did you test first thing in the morning as soon as you woke up, if not you need to.

But the stress of travel can have your period off also
