    30 amp switch
I have had a wire feed failure to 8 halogen lights in my horse pen alley. There is a 240 merc vapor light next to the alley. I ran the 240 feed to that lite to a subpanel, then 20amp double pole breaker and back to lite(Merc). Added a 20amp single pole and ran wire 20 ft and connected to halogens feed. All lites work well except when I turn them all on at same time, then 20 amp double at meter box trips. The feed (240) is #10 and the run is about 150 ft. Can I safely replace 20amp at meter pole with a 30 amp?

    What wattage are the halogens?
Is ALL the wiring on this circuit #10?

Halogens are 500 watt. The fee from meter pole to subpanel is all #10. Wire from 20amp single to halogens is #12
