    Writ of Execution
I received a WOE from an old credit card. It names a bank of mine. I have only $10 or less in this account. The judgement is for $1549. Can they take things like my car and other belongings?

The judgment creditor can execute on any asset you own. There are exemptions however, depending on which state you are in, which limit such execution.

Apparently they first obtained a default judgment against you because you failed to respond when you were first sued?

If what you received was a garnishment for the bank, at this time that is all they can take.

If they would take and what they can take of personal property depends where you live. I can not recall anyone I have ever known personal that has had personal property taken, except perhaps property bought with the credit card that was not paid. ( from a credit card) many payday loan places do this on a regular basis
