Honda civic 97
My honda civic 97' won't start after it is turned off, you have to wait for a while before you can start it again, I checked the fuel injection, cleaned the aicv, spark plugs and everything, there is also a hello blink on my ECU and no registered errors, someone told me I get too much fuel in the chamber causing it to flood that why I have a hard start up, is there a way I can adjust the amount of fuel injected on start up? Just to checked on it, I don't know what's wrong.. any suggestions?

RJ Cubed, does the Check Engine Light come on for 2 seconds and then go out, when the ignition switch is turned to ON (Position II)?

Focus on the distributor. Replacing the Ignition Control Module (ICM) and coil, located inside the distributor, should solve the problem. Apply silicone heat transfer compound to the back of the new ICM. This is the ideal time to replace the rotor and distributor cap, if they have not been changed in 60,000 miles.

Yes, I checked my ICM and I don't find anything wrong with it, however every time I start my car, I checked my spark plugs and it becomes flooded, I have new spark plugs and I don't know why, checked some mechanics they can't find what's wrong, other say its my ECU injecting too much gas on start up.. .

Your ECM is fine. I already gave you the answer to your problem--those other guys are way off base. It's a simple problem to diagnose and solve. Put me to the test.

How did you check your ICM?
If you don't fix the problem with your distributor, your Civic will never run properly again!
