Hi

I had one off cortesone treatment of five to six injections.
One in my neck the rest in my shoulders. 12 days ago.

The same evening I was red all over and got tiny pimples around my left eye which stayed for 4 days.

Then 4 strange purple patches on my back (not anywhere near my shoulders) which disappeared as quickly as they appeared.

My muscles in both my arms kept suddenly pulling tight alternately during the day. I am so sweaty sweating pools at night and hot even when its cold weather and still so dizzy. This kind of dizzyness I have never had.

The next day had a follow up appointment...... only doctors assistents! who didn't know anything about my case so I had to explain all over ,realizing basicly I had know idea what the doctor did or how many injections I got and was surrounded by incompetent staff.

The one examined me right where I was sitting with my back against the wall in the waiting chair. She pressed so hard that the pain from that stayed for hours.

Their diagnosis "now all I can do is rest and get well soon"
I was so dizzy but they paid no attention to what I said.

Now I want to know where was the doctor. I called soon afterwards for an appointment told the woman about how dizzy I was, but still only got one for 11 days later.The reception staff there don't let you talk to the doctors.Eventually I had to blurt out on the phoneI feel like I've been hang out to dry by this practice.Only then did I get to speak to one who was not very helpfull at all.

He reached for the needle only giving me enough time to ask what was in it, not if I wanted it or not.

My neck is numb but hurts more around the neck joint than before the injections.

When I eventually got to see the the doctor (his partner) 11 days later ,the man wouldn't believe that the shot had caused all this. According to him, suddenly I have a pinched nerve <in the same place where they injected!!!.>

In germany doctors dont want to hear it if a treatment they decide to give you isnt working or is giving you awful side effects.They tend to subtly say its psychosamatic even when it really isnt!

So now I have Vertigo - shocking I didnt have that before the shots.
The swelling around my neck vertebrae keeps going up and down depending on if im resting or not.

No one can tell my why im so dizzy with pressure on the base of my brain.
Been checked by neurologist had brain scan ,neck ultrasound.
Had neck x-rayed.
Checked ears and balance All fine.

At the moment I can't work

PLEASE HELP .Any ideas of what i should be asking or doing to prove it is indeed the shots thats caused all this would be appreciated.

Would it help if i got an antihistamine shot?
