So I had unprotected sex and two days later I started my period, which was actually one day early. Does this mean anything? Could I still be pregnant even after having my period so soon after having sex?

I think it's doubtful that you're pregnant but, it is possible for you to have the next/upcoming period after becoming pregnant. If you want to feel more confident, just purchase a home test at a store for few bucks. Still, I'd say it's doubtful that you're pregnant.

If you miss another period, take a hpt with first morning's urine.

The instructions for the test will tell you. Usually you have to wait at least a few days after the period has been missed (a few days after the expected first day) so that a detectable concentration of the pregnancy hormone can build up in the blood. So, if you don't have any signs of an oncoming period in the next few days, I'd take a test. If it's negative and you wait another week or two with no sign of your period, I would take another test. If this cycle continues (negative urine tests but no period) you may have to take a blood test to be sure.

I think you're all missing the main point. The OP has had her period. She hasn't missed a period.
