False negatives are very common, especially if you test too soon, or don't follow the instructions exactly.

Did you use first morning urine? How late is your period?

Wait another week or two. If you still haven't gotten your period, test again, make sure to use first morning urine. If that test is negative wait until your next period is due, see if you miss that one as well. If you do, try another test or see your doctor for a more accurate blood test.
