Hi, I'm married for 8 months and feeling that its already over since last two months. It was a inter caste love marriage, we were together for 2 years before getting married. I moved into his place with his family after marriage, though The plan was for two of us to live together away from families for couple of years, but that didn't happen. I never anticipated how difficult it could be to leave your parents/family/home and live with someone else's. His parents are very controlling, though I have never had any show down with them, but I just don't like his family. I have thought over it and I know the reasons. They don't understand that now their son is a married man and he should be respected. They keep scolding him day-night, even I've lost all respect for my husband, I find him a loser. He puts his family before me, he is not able to understand that I should be his top priority, I find him inconsiderate and that he doesn't need me, his family is very judging, they keep judging me that I don't talk, I don't smile... all bull and my husband comes and asks me to change myself. I talked him through everything very clearly one day, but I don't have much expectations from him. He has always been a practical kind of guy and I am the emotional fool, but before marriage it was different, may be because his family wasn't in the picture. I'm finding marriage, a very unequal institution to a girl and a guy, there are so many expectations and restrictions on girls and the guy's life doesn't change at all. And for me, all the love is lost too. So there is nothing for me in it. I don't love him anymore. Just waiting for the right time.
